Almond butter is a nut butter spread. This particular 24 oz. jar is only made with almonds and salt and no extra fillers. Because there are only two ingredients, natural separation will occur. Be sure to keep the oil in the jar and mix it into the almonds before using in order to get the full flavor. If there are any peanut allergies in the household, almond butter would make a delicious and comparable alternative.
