The Cambro CBU184272V4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus starter shelving unit's four tiers of vented polypropylene shelf plates are engineered to accommodate small pieces of equipment, heavy bagged items, and perishables. The top shelf can support 400 pounds, while each bottom shelf can hold 600 pounds. No more than 1,800 pounds should be stored on this unit at a time to prevent damage. When inventory changes, the shelves can be adjusted along the four composite posts to accommodate various product heights. This 42-inch-wide by 18-inch-deep by 72-inch-high shelving unit can endure environments between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit, so it's safe for cooler, freezer, pantry, and dishroom storage.
The Cambro CBU184272V4580 starter shelving unit's louvered shelf plates encourage air to move across the shelves' surfaces for uniform air circulation, which is vital for storing perishables. This free-flowing air movement can also help remove dust and moisture buildup to maintain a clean surface. Camguard® antimicrobial is molded into the shelf plates to slow microbial and fungal spread, which could result in malodors and unsightly stains between routine cleanings. When needed, the shelves can be wiped clean, removed, and sanitized in a warewasher.
