The Cambro CPU244872V4480 Camshelving® Premium shelving unit can be used in coolers, freezers, dry storage areas, warewashing rooms, and more. It is safe in temperatures that range from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit. Each of the four shelf plates can hold 800 pounds. These shelves are vented, so air can circulate around supplies or product, minimizing dust accumulation and permitting proper cooling in walk-in units. A Camguard™ antimicrobial agent is built into the shelves to inhibit bacteria growth that could lead to stains and odors.
The shelves are supported by eight traverses and, since these sit on molded-in dovetails, they can withstand heavy loads. To accommodate different product heights, the traverses can be adjusted in 4-inch increments. Adding strength to the Cambro CPU244872V4480 shelving unit, the traverses and posts have a solid steel core and polypropylene coating. It has sturdy nylon feet that are adjustable for leveling on uneven floors.
