Globe GSG14D Description
The Globe GSG14D panini press can be used to make hot sandwiches or grill meat like a griddle plate. While its smooth plates won't impart food with grill marks, they're easier to clean than grooved plates. Made of cast iron, these heavy plates press product better than lighter aluminum or stainless steel. To encourage uniform cooking, this material also improves heat distribution.
The Globe GSG14D sandwich grill has a temperature controller with a 570-degree Fahrenheit maximum. It also has a digital timer, and four timed recipes can be programmed into the unit to speed up the panini process. So it can accommodate thin and thick sandwiches, the unit's spring hinge system is adjustable.
